Shri Ramcharitmanas ka "Ayodhya Kand" ek aise patth ka varnan karta hai jisme Bhagwan Ram ke jeevan ka sabse bada sankat aata hai. Yahi vah bhaag hai jisme unhe rajyaabhishek ke bajaye 14 varsh ka vanvaas milta hai. Yah kand Bhagwan Ram ki maryada, prem, aur apne kartavya ke prati samarpan ka gyaan dene wala hai. Yeh kahani sirf ek vyakti ki nahi, balki ek aise jeevan ka margdarshan hai jisme hum apne kartavya ko pratham sthaan dete hain.

Ayodhya Kand ki Mukhya Ghatnayen:
1. Ram ka Rajyabhishek aur Kaikeyi ki Ichha:
Dashrath Maharaj, jo Ayodhya ke prabhutvashaali raja hain, apne putra Ram ka rajyabhishek karne ka faisla karte hain. Yeh khabar sun kar Ayodhya mein utsav ka mahaul hota hai, aur sabhi log apne priya Ram ko raja ke roop mein dekhne ke liye utsuk hote hain. Magar is anand ke beech Kaikeyi ko apne do vardan yaad aate hain, jo Dashrath ne kabhi unhe diye the. Manthara ke dush prabhav ke kaaran Kaikeyi apne vardan ka upayog karti hai aur Ram ko vanvas bhejne ki maang karti hai, aur apne putra Bharat ko raja banane ki ichha vyakt karti hai.
Stotra (Kaikeyi ki Maang):
"सुमिरि पाई कैकयी दोउ वरदान।
रघुकुल कीन्ह कृपा बलवान।।"
Arth (Meaning): Is chhand mein Kaikeyi ke do vardan ka smaran kiya gaya hai, jo Dashrath ne kabhi diye the. Yeh dikhata hai ki kis prakaar ek maa apne vicharon aur asuraksha ke karan apne pati aur putra ke prati kathor nirnay le leti hai. Yah chhand yeh batata hai ki manushya ki ichha kabhi-kabhi uske apne dukh ka kaaran ban sakti hai.
2. Ram ka Vanvaas aur Pitri Bhakti:
Jab Ram ko vanvaas milta hai, toh unhone bina kisi shikayat ke apne pita Dashrath ka aadesh maan liya. Unhone apne rajya aur rajniti se upar apne pita ke aadesh ko rakha. Yeh Ram ki maryada aur kartavya ka sabse bada prateek hai. Sita aur Lakshman bhi unke saath vanvaas jane ke liye tayaar hote hain. Sita apne pati ke prati apna kartavya nibhane ke liye aur Lakshman apne bade bhai ke prati apni bhakti ko pradarshit karte hain.
Stotra (Ram ka Vanvaas):
"सुनि करुणा करि कीन्ही बिनती, वन गमन कीन्हा नरपति मनु।
राम चले बन बार बार, सोभा बढाई निज करतार।।"
Arth (Meaning): Is shloka mein Ram ke van gaman ka varnan kiya gaya hai. Ram ne sab kuch tyag kar apne pita ke aadesh ka palan kiya, jo unke dharm aur kartavya ka prateek tha. Yeh stotra batata hai ki Ram ne apne vyaktigat sukh aur rajya ko apne pita ke aadesh ke aage nahi rakha, aur unhone har sthiti mein maryada ko palit kiya.
3. Dashrath ka Dukh aur Mrityu:
Ram ke van gaman ke baad Dashrath Maharaj apne putra ke virah mein shokgrast ho gaye. Unka dukh itna gahra tha ki ve apne putra ke bina jeevit nahi reh sake. Unhone apne pichle janm mein ki gayi galti (Shravan Kumar ki hatya) ke dosh ko smaran kar apni aakhri saansein li. Yeh ghatna yeh dikhati hai ki Dashrath apne putra ke prati kitna prem karte the, aur unka jeevan bina Ram ke adhoora tha.
Stotra (Dashrath ka Dukh):
"रामु न आवत देख दुख भारी।
भइ मनुहष बसु पंक्ति विचारी।।"
Arth (Meaning): Dashrath Maharaj apne putra Ram ke bina atyant dukhi hote hain. Is stotra mein unka dukh aur virah ka varnan hai, jo unke man ke bhaav ko vyakt karta hai. Unke liye Ram sirf ek putra nahi, balki unka jeevan tha, aur unke bina unka jeevan shunya ho gaya tha.
4. Bharat ka Tyag aur Ram ke Prati Bhakti:
Jab Bharat ko apne mata Kaikeyi ke dwara kiye gaye karyon ka pata chalta hai, toh ve atyant kroddhit aur dukhit hote hain. Bharat kisi bhi sthiti mein rajya ko sweekar nahi karte, aur ve Ram ko wapas lane ke liye chale jate hain. Bharat ka Ram ke prati samarpan aur bhakti ka pradarshan is kand mein dekhne ko milta hai. Yeh dikhata hai ki ek sacha bhai apne sukh se pehle apne bhai ke prati apni bhakti ko pratham sthan deta hai.
Stotra (Bharat ka Samarpan):
"निज पत दिन ब्रह्मा धरि, राम पग बार बार।
लखनु देखत लखन गय, रामहि लाकरं भार।।"
Arth (Meaning): Bharat apne bade bhai Ram ke prati apni bhakti aur nishtha ko pradarshit karte hain. Unhone rajya ko tyag kar Ram ke charanon ka smaran kiya, jo unke prem aur samarpan ka prateek tha. Bharat ka charitra humein yeh sikhata hai ki vyakti ko apne swarth ke bajaye apne kartavya aur sambandhon ka maan rakhna chahiye.

Ayodhya Kand humein Bhagwan Ram ke jeevan ka sabse bada paath sikhata hai – apne kartavya ke prati nishtha, parivar ke prati samarpan, aur maryada ka palan. Ram ka vanvas humein yeh sikhata hai ki kathinaiyon ka samna karte hue bhi vyakti ko apne kartavya se kabhi peechhe nahi hatna chahiye. Is kand mein Bharat ka Ram ke prati samarpan aur bhakti bhi ek aadarsh hai, jo humein sikhata hai ki sacha sambandh swarth se pare hota hai.
