“युद्ध के परिणाम पर शोक प्रकट करना”
Bhagavad Gita ke pratham adhyay ko "अर्जुन विषाद योग" kaha jata hai. Yeh adhyay us samay ki sthiti ko darshata hai jab Arjuna, Mahabharata ke yuddh ke maidan par, Kurukshetra mein, apne parijanon aur mitron ke viruddh yuddh karne ke liye khada hota hai. Yuddh ke pehle, Arjuna ka man vichlit ho jata hai aur wo yuddh ke parinaamon par shok prakat karta hai. Yeh adhyay humein samajhata hai ki jeevan ke kathin samay me manushya kaise apne kartavya aur bhavnao ke beech uljhan me phas jata hai.

अर्जुन की दुविधा
Kurukshetra ke yuddh ke pehle, Arjuna apne rath par khada hoke dono senaon ko dekhta hai. Usse apne samne apne mitra, guru, aur rishtedaar yuddh ke liye tayar nazar aate hain. Ye drishya uske man ko vichlit kar deta hai aur wo yuddh karne ki ichha kho deta hai. Uska dil dukh aur shok se bhar jata hai, aur wo Shri Krishna se apni kathin sthiti ko vyakt karta hai.
Arjuna ke prashan yeh hote hain:
Kya apne apno ke khilaf ladna uchit hai?
Kya yuddh se jeevan ka koi mahatva bachega?
Kya apne swarth ke liye guru aur mitra ka balidan sahi hai?
Arjuna ke shabdon me uska dukh aur vichar spashth roop se dikhai deta hai:
"Na kaankshe vijayam Krishna, na cha rajyam sukhani cha,
Kim no rajyena govinda, kim bhogair jeevitena vaa?"
(Arjuna kehte hain, "Mujhe na vijay ki ichha hai, na rajya ka sukh chahiye, aur na hi bhog ka lobh hai. Mujhe jeevan ka mahatva nahi samajh aa raha.")

अर्जुन का शारीरिक और मानसिक पतन
Arjuna ka shok itna gahra hota hai ki uska sharir kampne lagta hai, uske haath se dhanush gir jata hai, aur wo apne kartavya ko tyagna chahata hai. Wo apne man aur atma me ek kashmakash me phas jata hai, jahan ek taraf uska kartavya hai aur doosri taraf uski bhavnaayein.
Yeh sthiti har vyakti ke jeevan me kabhi na kabhi aati hai, jab wo apne faisle aur unke parinaamon ko lekar anishchit hota hai. Arjuna ki yeh sthiti hamare jeevan ke kathin samay ka pratik hai.

अध्याय का महत्व
"अर्जुन विषाद योग" ka adhyay yeh dikhata hai ki shok aur uljhan ke samay me humein ek margdarshak ki avashyakta hoti hai jo humein sahi disha dikhaye. Yeh adhyay yeh sikhata hai ki har samasya ka samadhan apne man ke andar talashna hota hai, na ki bahar.
Arjuna ki kahani humein yeh prerna deti hai ki jab bhi hum jeevan me kisi kathin samasya ka samna karte hain, tab humein apne karm aur lakshya par vishwas karna chahiye.

श्री कृष्ण का मौन
Is adhyay me Shri Krishna Arjuna ke dukh ko shanti se sunte hain. Unhone abhi tak koi updesh nahi diya, balki Arjuna ko apni bhavnaayein vyakt karne di. Yeh dikhata hai ki ek sacha margdarshak wahi hota hai jo pehle vyakti ke man ka dukh sunta hai aur fir samasya ka samadhan deta hai.

Antim Shabd
Arjuna ka shok aur uljhan hum sabke jeevan ka ek ang hai. Yeh adhyay humein yeh sikhata hai ki manushya ke jeevan me kathinaiyan aur uljhanon ka aana swabhavik hai, lekin inke samadhan ke liye humein apne andar ek dridh vishwas aur sahi margdarshan ki avashyakta hoti hai. Bhagavad Gita ka yeh pratham adhyay yuddh ke maidan ke pare jeevan ke asli yuddh ka pratik hai.
"Yatra yogeshwarah Krishna, yatra Partho dhanur-dharah,
Tatra shrir vijayo bhutir, dhruva nitir matir mama."
(Arjuna aur Krishna ke sangh mein vijay nishchit hai.)
Yeh adhyay humein yeh prerna deta hai ki jab bhi hum jeevan ke sankat se ghirte hain, tab apne margdarshak ka sahara lekar agla kadam lena chahiye.
